Quote: You can pick up an OEM m45 trunk lip spoiler factory painted for around $200. You can avoid drilling holes as well if you modify it a little. I plan picking on up soon....
I saw this on a G and liked it. Where is a good place to get it from.

Quote: ^ good question. I was wondering the same thing. Also what did you use to drill the holes?
Only had the spoiler for a month. I used a multi uni-bit (as per the instruction) to drill the holes. The bit cost me $35 at the local hardware store.

For $85, it can't be that great a spoiler...that's for sure. You get what you pay for....

Thats what I thought until I got it. It's perfect in every way so far, but I haven't had it long.

Interesting...good luck with it. Maybe come back to this thread in a year & update others as to how it's holding up? (meant seriously...not sarcastically)

I'm thinking at this price...I should just buy another one assuming that the paint may start to crack in a couple yrs. Since I already drilled the holes and fed the wires, it would take 10min to install a replacement.

I bought these un-painted and got it professionally painted at a local body shop, so the finish is still good, but at extreme heat ex.(Las Vegas in summer) they sag in the middle. And after 1 year, few of the LED's went out. No good in my opinion.
