Ordering Amsoil

How long does it take to come in? looks like you don't have a choice on shipping.

Just use Mobil 1, widely avaliable and just as good. If you get regular Mobil 1 oil changes the engine will have no problem running 200k + miles, probably way longer than you will own the vehicle for.

Why does your car take 6.5 qts of oil? Do you have a bigger oil pan?

I guess he wants Amsoil................!

Have you tried going on line to www.amsoil.com apparently you really want
this synthentic oil? There are other quality oils on the market Mobil 1, Red
Line and Royal Purple all $7.00 to $8.00 per quart. I know nothing about
Amsoil filters but probably good filters......I use K&N filters and nothing else!
Good Luck with your search......

Ya I've been on the website a lot but they don't say what shipping they use and when I called them today the were already closed. Guess I'll call tomorrow! Ya I'm going after a full synthetic oil this time. I've heard good stuff about redline as well.

For a new motor under warantee, the German Syntec "European formula" 0W/30 is the way to go. Available at Autozone, but must say "Made in Germany". Combined with a Purolator PL14610, you have the best protection money can buy.

For a motor out of warantee, boosted, or that you want to go 15K+ miles per oil change, the Mobil 1 5W/40 Turbo Diesel Truck is absolutely bulletproof stuff.

Order it online. It ships from Wisconsin. I get it within a week. I'm running 10w30 and changing every 3k with my vortech.
