Offset Help ASAP

This is also in the wheel and tire section.

I need to know asap if a 9.5" wheel with +35 mm will look ok on my 04 sedan. I have a friend who is getting a good deal on some new rims and his now are 8.5" +38 mm on the front and 9.5" +35 on the rear.I would like to buy these from him today. I know that +45 on the rear would be best, but will this be ok. I think that I will have to get the fenders rolled. Please let me know asap so this wheels don't get gone.

You'd have to dial in alot of negative camber for them to fit, but like Chico said, they wont fit, they'll stick out past the fender about a 1/4" unless you have alot of neg. camber.

9.5" +35 on the rear should be fine depending on your drop you may need to roll your fenders.

Like ^^^ said the fronts will not fit.
who said the front wont fit, i think you read it wrong Tim . The fronts are 8.5 +38. The rear's he'll have to roll the fenders and dial in neg. camber.

Rolling the fenders and a camber kit like these in the vendor classifieds will do the trick on the +35 in the back right. The fronts will still be 8.5" +45.

You shouldnt need a rear camber kit to increase the negative camber enough to where they wont rub. From the factory we have limited positive camber adjustment, but negative camber, you can get plenty of that with the stock arms.

yeah, stick with 275/30, 275/35 would increase your chances of rubbing.

On a +35 I'd go 265/30/19. I ran +38 on 9.5" wheels, and even with rolled fenders and -2.5* camber it rubbed. I had to run -3.3* to avoid rubbing. And forget about passengers in the back of the car. It's going to cost you more money to make the +35's work than to get proper offset wheels.

Don't get a camber kit, you're not going to be able to get it in spec and clear your fenders.

another thing is he's only lowered on H-techs and thats a pretty minimal drop so with no passengers in the rear he shouldnt rub.

But yea, if i was him, i'd get wheels with the perfect offset just to avoid and problems whatsoever.

Not true. G35_TX ran 19x9.5" +38 on 275/30/19 and rubbed at stock height on any bumps and dips. The wheels stick out of the fenders so when the suspension compresses, they bang against the fenders.
