So you want to move your deck up and the controls down right?

Anything is possible but it will take some time to make a new bracket to mount the deck as well as cut out the space behind the radio and move/extend any wires because there is not enough depth up higher for the DD. Then you have to make the bezel. So it will take some time.

So yes it can be done but you may hack up your car a bit doing it.

I don't think it would work.

There is a recess for the HU components that's not there higher up. You might be able to make it work, but would take a lot of customizing.

I really don't think it would be worth it. Most of the DD decks on the market have a tilt feature so you can see them geat at the lower level.

its too much custom work...DD units are fat and you'll have a hard time securing it up there...also, why would you put it up where everyone can see and thieves will be tempted to steal it more

i agree about how thieves would be tempted ,but my friend has a dd and its so fare down and i dont like the way it looks and its a pain to to keep looking so far down and back on to the road and i think it looks better uptop. so you think it cant be done? i agree wiht you with it would be hard to secure up there but im sure if i take it to a car audio place they can figure something out what you think?

I think that the right shop can do anything. It's not going to be cheap.
