Map light and trim removal

I did a search and couldn't find anything on this.

2004 Sedan, I want to remove the map light and surrounding plastic trim. Service Manual shows 2 tangs/clips at rear of trim, one on left, one on right.

I've tried to depress these with two putty knives, but have not been successful.

Is this the proper way to remove it?

Thanks for any help,

Mark

I know how to remove the map light which is done by pulling down on the plastic closests to the sunroof switch.

Looking at the service manual, it looks like you need to pull down from the part closests to the windshield which has clips on both left and right side where the middle of the sunglass holder (l&r) would be.
