I would do it, it's cheap and painted. I'll have mine after my wheels. Also you can probably get away with not drilling your trunk. Just remove all hard ware and 3m tape it on.

I like the sample pics you provided, but my only concern is if the sides that hang a little over the lights will be flimsy or not. Also, if the lip is hollow, what about sealing issues?(only in regards to the edges) Water, dirt, etc. will you have to clean it out all the time? Just somethings to consider.

But I am defintely curious on how it works out for you. Please post some pics of your install and final result...it would be greatly appreciated!

I dont like that lip, simply because the exhaust tips will look out of place.

Looks like one size too big,

has an over hang on each side. The g is narrower than the M, so on a G,
it may overhang even more. You migh want to get the dimention first

I had considered one for my 05 G35X. I measured Msedanmans and if I remember correctly it was almost 2" too wide.
