Pics of my G35X Sedan

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome on the new owner section. Also, the useful information containing in the forum. The bad part is, now I want to mod my G35X. Must be some bad influences around. Here are pictures of my new 2006 G35X:

I think your first mod should be aimed at getting that thing closer to the ground.

GL and have fun!

The one thing that a lot of people don't realize is some of us purchase the X because we use all of it's capabilities including the increased ground clearance sometimes. I used to scrape my front end even in the summer where I used to drive, and during winter it helps.
I would love to lower my X , but it is not practical for some anyways .

I doubt people buy the X for increased ground clearance...I bet most people who buy the X don't even know that their car is higher than the RWD G....until they come on this forum and get told "you gotta drop that".

I'm with GEE35X. I like the look of my X at factory height! I must add that many of the lowered sedans on this forum are extremely attractive. However, with the right wheels, the X is still attractive when left at stock height.

No we don't buy it for the increased ground clearance, We buy it because it has AWD and that little bit more clearance can be helpful. That was my point.

Come on i can stow a small baby in that front finder gap. But of course if you need your G to have extra clearance for environmental reasons then by all means leave it.

This is what a small 0.5" drop looks like. Simple & inexpensive.

I changed it to a set of Sedan Sport springs, just a a little firmer
for better handling & still have good ground clearance.

For 1" drop, one can easily change it into coupe springs.

It's the 1.5" drop using 350Z springs what I don't get. With the z drop,
you won't be able to get alignment back to spec, so the need for other
aligment related cost goes way up.

Budget Modder
