So one of three things happened:
1) The 07 tried a half-throttle launch

3) The 07 had VDC on

Regardless, the gap closed quickly at the end of the track. I really want to see a proper slip.

DING DING DING WE HAVE A WINNER

He spun 1st .... I spun for a second as you can see i almost went sideways then hooked, after that i was gone :P....

He did catch up to me @ end of 4h( race already ended @ end of 3rd )...

We both had VDC OFF and we both Brake Torque'd

The 2007 had a better R/T He had a .6xx i had a .8xx I was searching for the slips in the car couldnt find them I'll check when i get home...

As you probably know, you beat the driver. His car is trapping 4mph higher which means he's got quite a bit more power to play with.

It does look like a poor launch for the 07.

Regardless.... credit goes to AltimanGxe for beating 07 with a clear margin.

You can def do better, just need some practice launching. Was it windy?

yep it really looks like the 07 spun hard out of the hole, and got off of it for a good second. Nice win Altiman, the great thing about drag racing is that somtimes the slower car wins.

I drove a 07 AT Saturday and they are uncomfy to me! once you get you seat where you like it for the wheel and pedals the shifter feels to far back!

this proves that a driver can make so much difference even when driving autos.

The 07 never got off the gas was his problem, He took off a fraction of a second faster than i did and from the line he was burning them boys... I slipped a bit but i have chunkier tires (245's) compared to the stock 225 the 07's come with...

Basically I out drove him...

I ran a 07 in the hwy (clear no traffic 3am) and he walked on me and kept pulling..... They dont play!! But as most of you know off the hole is a whole different role :P
