I was going to do the whole thing but for my fist CF project I wanted to start easy.

I have very little experience with cf, but we used vacuum also to help form shapes with bags and molds. I was thinking it may help hold the cf & resin nice & tight against the bar.

The paint on the strut bar came out like crap so I am starting over.

MINE TOO!!!!!! I AM STARTING OVER!!! that surface does not adhere to ****! i took a quarter and ran it across and it came off like lotto scratchers...will need to sand down to bare metal for sure....maybe a coat of promoter or primer is in need........

So here are some current pics.

I re-wrapped the whole bar in CF and then painted over the sides for a better flow. I still need to sand down the paint and put on another coat and some more clear.

ttrank, you didnt have a problem installing the richie strut bar with the CS coilovers did you? Im ordering a set by the end of this month and wodering if the strut bar will still fit? I heard someone saying that it wouldnt work with aftermarket coilovers?
