I called Infiniti parts departments today and even went to the National Infiniti where I bought a car from. All of them have confirmed and I have a print out that Infiniti did assign some g35 sedans the track grade. These cars have sport suspensions, that is, shocks and springs are exactly the same ones as installed in the sedans with the sport suspension. However the shocks are not red but black. Weird, isn't it?

That doesn't make sense.. and would actually upset the buyers that didn't get the sport package because they wanted a softer ride.

Hmmm berman can you elaborate? what would the difference between the sport version and track version be? Just by the use of the word, it would seem that the track version would have a stiffer ride as it is made for the track rather than just a sport version. The track version of the 350Z is an upgrade over the enthusiast and performance models

Are shocks on our sport version sedans red? Mine are black.

I have a 2003 sedan came out of production in July with Sport tuned suspension. The shock is in RED color and it's from Tokico.
Is the black one Tokico as well? Anyone knows the difference between the two?

 

Could you scan and post your print out? This would be a first.
