Don't forget that for the first couple of years, the coupe had more horsepower than the sedan (280 vs 260). Once the sedan got the same bump (05 model), I'm sure the difference lessend.

But hey, you know why auto makers care so much shxt about horsepower numbers? since they have to accomdate the majority of the general public (I would assume 80%) that they know nothing except the published numbers by the auto manufacturers. Ask them if they know what's a torque curve and what's the significance of AREA under the torque and horsepower curve lol...
they would give you this look -> and insist that the 280hp is more powerful than the 260hp model...

The coupe is wider and heavier with the same engine and transmission. You do the math...

Don't be so ignorant. Atleast if u don't know about a particular subject either don't post or research a bit then post ur opinion.

I'm not concerned with a few tenths for a daily car, but I was curious.
Show me a single magazine where the coupe was 0.5 seconds faster either till 60 or 1/4 mile.

I also think that 200 lbs in the same car won't make a difference. I actually tested this at a track, when I gutted my whole trunk. I had maddd crap there, and took it all out, including the spare, all the mats and anything I can take off possible. Also took out the rugs inside. My 1/4 mile didn't change by even .1 ... therefore I don't think the weight difference in sedan and coupe matter (much)

heres another comparison from motortrend:

2003 coupe 6MT: 5.83 14.23 @ 99.4
2003 sedan 6MT: 5.78 14.28 @ 100.3

pretty much the same
