i had a straight pipe then installed a magnaflow 22" resonator and all the rasp went away. drone went away but it wasn't that loud w/ a unversal muffler on.

i now have test pipes and a borla dual exhaust and it's quieter than before especially at WOT

How lound is the borla exhaust? I'm really considering betting it. Strange thing with the mid is that sitting on the driver side its loud as hell but on the passanger side its a lot quieter.

I don't understand why the hell this car is so damn loud at low rpms. Also outside its really quiet and inside is where the problem starts. If i put sound insulation on the floor would it help?

you just have sensitive ears...the drone is there with the coupe middy as I have one, but it is very subtle and I love the new sound above 3500 RPM

Found the reason for the loud *** drone. There is a small metal bracket between the pipe and the drive shaft and the exhaust was touching it creating all that loud noise. Took the bracket out and now its quiet and I love it even more. Not that much louder than the stock pipe inside. Outside can def tell there is a deeper tone.
