What kinda GAS?/

What kinda of gas do you guys use. i got the 03 sedan. automatic. ive been runing mid grade. does not give me any problems. another guy said he uses the cheap ****. and he has gone about 80k.

You can use the cheap stuff but will have more gunk build-up on your valves, etc and risk the occasional detonation. If you drive your car hard I strongly recommend using 91 or higher. It's a high compression engine and should be fed the good stuff.

You're only saving a few dollars at the most. Why risk build up and future problems? Just use Premium.

The answer is on the little sticker by your gas filler.......mine reads Prem/91
octane!

yeah probably just go ahead and use 93, i always used it on my lsvtec civic. lol. yeah i know a civic. gotta start somewhere...

Another ? what about reving. is this thing ok seeing 6k and 7k i dont think ive takin it that high. but ive gotten on it it dont have to rev up to go thats for sure.

I'm tempted to use costco gas sometimes, but normally just use chevron. Whats your guys take on that?

what about the fact the car already has 50k on the motor. would running seafoam be a bad idea to clean everything up.

I wish we had 93 around here. Only crap 91 in these parts. A few places sell 100 for ~$6/gallon.

100?!?!?! Highest here is also 91.

There is a place on the penninsula that sells higher than 91 acutally. I saw it on a similar thread a while ago.

Yeah you can get 100 at the pump at 2 places not too far from here. You can get VP up to 109 unleaded over at UMS Tuning.

I would trade the 100 for 93 anyday. I would use 93 all the time, 100 is too much $$$.

the car wont advance the timing if you fill it up with anything higher than 91.
