I got my 2004, g35 6sp on March 30, 2005, a left off with prem and nav. listed for 36k and they came down to 28.5k. I looked at it a few times and first offer was 32k or so and I said no thanks. I offered 28k and was actually going to buy another car elsewhere and they came back at 28.5 at Harte in CT.

I got my 06 Fully loaded 6MT for 29.5 Sticker was 38.9. It had 100 miles on it. Probably could have gotten a little more off it, but I figured the sales guy deserved to make a little money. This was on December 16th.

Just got my 06 three weeks ago, I got 6K off of MSRP. That equated to 3k under invoice. Keep lookin. I think that Infiniti is offering 3k off MSRP. My dealership offered an additional 3k. Good luck.

He came down to 31 even, that is a little more than 3000 off his invoice for that car. I know it has premium but I don't know what else that made the invoice over 34000. And he will check on getting 14000 for my TL-S. I don't know, I'm very undecided, it is awfully close to the invoice on a new 07 g35x if I only add sunroof (no premium). So waiting for an 07 near invoice in late summer might be a better option although my trade would be less. According to the deal thread in the 07 forum some people claim to be getting theirs for 500 to 1000 over invoice already, so dealers are willing to come off MSRP at least. I'm just very unsure at this point and he will be calling tomorrow, he wants to do this by the end of the month.

Yeah and you spend a little extra so you don't envy the car you could have had for a few thousand.

Don't be afraid to look at the 07, some of these dealerships are stupid and will offer a better deal on the 07, then they would on the 06. I've heard of people getting 6k off the 06, last feb. This week is the best time to drill these dealerships, a lot of them will severely drop their price because it's the end of the month and they have a quota to meet. Don't be afraid to use those online services that will get you quotes. That's how I found my deal. I had several dealerships call me with the last being 6k off. After that, I still was able to haggle my trade in to get more than what all the other dealerships were offering.
Bought mine at Infiniti of Mission Viejo.

Good luck! Hopefully, by the end of the week, we can welcome you to the community .

I got about 6K off my o6 X in November. I understand they only have a few left @ your dealer but I think there are 2 factors in play. Compared to the 07's these 06's are great deals, and there are few left, so in the dealers eyes, they will move sooner or later. Second and this is only a caution, at some point Infinity will pull any rebates on these cars and tell the dealers to fend for themselves, then this deal will sound really good. I think an 06x premium C Probably will not get below$30500 and a decent deal would be below $31500.

Well, I didn't end up getting it.
The funny thing is, he called me back on the 28th, and yes, offered a leftover (the one that had the test drive miles) for 29k. No I didn't buy it. If we started at 31, we could have worked something out sooner without hiding rebates and playing games.
By the way, I used the internet through Edmunds and got quotes from eight different dealers (well most didn't give me a quote directly, but a few did) for the 07. From what I saw, yeah, like you said, they are all ready to deal. Right off the bat they were coming it at 500-700 over invoice, forget MSRP. So that's something to think about.

Brought mine 06 G35X last month with 100 miles on it brand new. The MSRP cost was 38500. I got my no hassle for 30550. Traded my BMW Z4 and finance the rest. Should give you a price range.

I went in the last week of Febuary, about 1/2 hour b4 closing time on a Saturday night and got the last 06 on the lot. Traded in my Z3 and got top blue book for it as well?! Anyway, I got out of there with a brand new G35 Sedan (100 miles) with Premium C for $28,000. (Less then that with trade in). It's a N. Cal dealership.

By the way I will NEVER EVER go back to BMW. WAAAAY overpriced and cmon' hard to go fast in bumper to bumper traffic
