For the same price you could have gotten them already in their own headrest in Downtown LA...not to bust your bubble, I got quoted 375 with the DVD player, headrest with monitors also 7 inch...I beleive the 10 inch were something like 400 with a clarion DVD player.

That's a $50 drive up there. Plus I was worried about the look of the headrest, I've seen some w/ the screen and just didn't like it. Personally I think 135 each (after taxes) is not a bad deal considering I wanted it then.

I'll try taking a couple later today and post them up.

Nice work. Question though...why do both installs look like the screens aren't centered on the headrest (less then 3/4" on one side of the screen, but well over 1" on the other? Or is it just the photo?

They are centered pretty well, both have the same distance to the front sides (4.5"). I thought the same thing when I finished the passenger side, but every time I measure it, it is spot on. The first couple of days that they were installed, I didn't have the baby seats in and had various passengers and they all thought they were pretty even. I think since the back of our headrests are curved; it plays tricks on our eyes. Maybe?

Great job and price for the monitors. I give you much credit for cutting into your headrest without experience. Makes me think now.......

The drivers side is very flush, but the right side of the passenger side screen isn't. It seems like it can't go further in because of the pole.
