Well on my way to work I noticed my car sounding a bit different, but it wasnt anything bad to make me look under my car. Well on my way back I noticed a grinding sound when i would accelerate and then I knew there was problem. I didnt want to stop on the freeway to look, so I waited until I got home. To my dismay, I found this crack on my fujitsubo exhaust that probably has no more than 40k on it! I didn't run anything over. You think it was caused by the heat it made or something else?

Have it re-welded.

Make sure it's a stainless weld, though.
Let us know how it goes.

my crawford cat cracked once. i was behind a 355 ferrari going ~70, traffic cleared, and i floored it, just for the hell of it (expecting him to do the same) - the cat cracked right at that moment. my girlfriend **** herself (figuratively), i think the ferrari driver did too.

oh, yeah, have it rewelded.

rewelded at muffler shop probably cost around $100 or less and then contact fuji see if they will stick the bill...take good pix before the claim. That is what I would do.
