350 throttle body spacer = more HP on sedan?

a budy of mine was telling me sumthing about puting sum kind of spacer form a 350 z throttle body that it will increase HP.. anyone else heard of such a thing...

but nothing for the 350z that i can find

I most definitely could be wrong but - their add sounds like bullshit. It all seems a little too hocus pocus to me.

I tend to agree with GeeSpot, at least in regards to the port injected VQ35DE engines.

After looking at several pictures of 350Z and G35 throttle bodies and see no spacer or other difference externally. There have been some posts on my350Z discussingthe advantages of "boring out" the throttle body, ie. increasing the diameter of the throttle body's butterfly. No spacer however.
