6MT car shaking issues...

I have an 04 6MT sedan, when i take off in first gear from a stop, the car shudders when the clutch engages. Any idea what this could be? I'm guessing its not normal.

Thanks

Sounds like you are about to stall.

1) rev it higher and let the clutch out a little faster
2) how many miles? you may need a new clutch

You might have a warped flywheel.

That was my initial guess...Don't think a worn clutch would cause the car to shake....

True. The only way a warn clutch would cause a shake is if it were not wearing the same or if it was bad enough to cause the car to stall. Either way if you are at 62k it could be time for a new flywheel.

anyone know of a good flywheel that's pretty driveable? I would rather get something driveable than make my car faster....

If you recently replaced your clutch then you might not of broken it in right and glazed your flywheel. My car shutters a little bit due to me running my car hard after about 120 miles on a new clutch. This is most likely not the case with you.
