intelligent key

My original intelligent key is getting weaker, it's getting harder for the car to recognize it. The green key light blinks every time I start the car, the spare intelligent key works fine every time. Is this covered under warranty?

it uses a watch battery just change it

and buy a good battery. i bought some basic Eveready ones and they died pretty fast. maybe they were old. put in some new Duracells and the thing works better than new....just my 2 cents
