Would imagine the air flow will rip it off anyway.

Then your problem will be solved.

The M45 spoiler has mounting studs embedded in the spoiler itself. According to the factory directions you are to drill holes in the trunk so the studs "click" in. I was wondering if I should mount it that way or cut the stud off and use
3M double side tape. Also, mine came in WV2 Daimnon Graphite, but the color is way off from my car so i'll have to get it painted to match better.

Oh I see. My UTR on didn't have all of that. I only needed double sided tape. Oh btw Will I got the roof spoiler in and I'll take pics of it tonight. I'm wanting to trade it and the UTR spoiler for a OEM spoiler. I just think the OEM spoiler looks better.

I think that one like that, but with the correct width would look best.

Yah I know it's an M35/M45 spoiler Chris, I am no dummy (at least I don't think I am

I like how it has more presence than the M3 one...but just don't like how it hangs over onto the lights because the M35/45 trunk is wider. The M3 spoiler looks good, but just a tad thin for me.

Kenny I wouldn't get a spoiler. IMO our car's profile looks gorgeous without one. Especially dropped like yours.

Only get it if you plan on reducing the width, as others have said above. Hanging over the edges of the trunk kills the look IMO.

I say go for the M3 spoiler. I don't like it hanging over the lights.

I actually considered the M45 spoiler a year ago for my 05 G35X. We measured up Msedanman's spoiler on his M and it was too wide. I still love the looks of that spoiler and think it would look fantastic if the bodyshop could cut it down to the width of the trunk. If that was done IMHO it would look so much nicer than the M3, UT or OEM spoiler.
