I just made the leap from a 99 Miata to an 04 Sedan in OCT and have Loved every moment of it. Enjoy! and I would say go for the 04' that is setup the way you want it! Don't settle..

I'm in St Louis. The one that I'm considering is at Plaza Infiniti on Olive.

Re: OK ... Going with a G35 Sedan

I went from a '00 Mustang GT convertible into my '04 G35 Sedan in October, and I don't regret it at all, this car is comparable in power to the GT, much more comfortable to drive, and I am just really enjoying the hell out of it!! Glad I did it! And, G35Girl, you are right, the HID lights are standard, just checked my sticker!

Re: OK ... Going with a G35 Sedan

There's a 2K difference in price, 14,500miles, .5yrs, and heaven knows who the owner was, how he/she drove it, why its for sale, etc.
If price isn't the #1 factor, who here besides me thinks mayday should go for the 2k4, peace of mind, brand shpanking new car, 1 owner, you KNOW where the car has been, and getting all the addt'l bells & whistles of the 2004 model.
Just my $.02...again...I just would rather pay the 2k extra and not have to wonder who the previous owner was and how the car was taken care of.

i'd get the 04 if price isn't an issue -- it's new car versus used car. but if the drive is what you're focusing on, then maybe you should go with the 03 and sport pack. a lot of people like the ride with that suspension better.

Lived in STL for over 10 years up to last year. Some winters we might have had one or two significant snow storms w/ accumulation over 4 inches. Not a lot of snow in the STL area. KC on the other hand and central MO, seemed to get nasty winter storms.

Re: OK ... Going with a G35 Sedan

I'd go with the new car. I've seen too many shady things with cars to trust a used one. Once when I had a car in a shop for upgrades, the owner let me use his leased car. I noticed the mileage never changed and the spedometer still worked! This was with a digital type of odometer too. Also with a new car you get to break it in correctly, have lemon laws to protect you, etc.

If you know and trust the owner of the car and he/she had it since new, that would be a different story. But, a dealer? You can't even trust them with new cars.

haha robm... that car must've had the magic touch.

"But, a dealer? You can't even trust them with new cars."

yeah, that's true. my parents told me about this guy who would turn back the odometers (non-digital though) of cars and sell them.

Re: OK ... Going with a G35 Sedan

I had a friend who bought a used car some years ago, and the damned odometer was going in reverse, he noticed that a couple of days after he bought the damned car, it went back right away! The dealer denied any knowledge of that, I don't know when those mileage forms came out, I know I have had to sign those for some time now! I have never done good with a used car myself either!

Re: OK ... Going with a G35 Sedan

Well, when I was in high school, we drove my friends parents car further than they would allow him to, he tried to run the car on a lift at a gas station, in reverse, and it didn't seem to run it back much, we were pretty much morons when it came to cars back then, LOL!
