2004 Infiniti G35 Repair Manual
$300!? That's absurd....shoulda asked if that came w/ a free detail or a blo* j*b from the hot receptionist (assuming there is one)
. Good luck getting one (looks like greco's your best bet)!

Ok went to the fresh alloy site to down load. Lists 04 and 04.5. What is the difference? Car was built 5-04, so I would have to believe 4.5, being 05 came out in 7-or 8 of 04.

The G35c manual is the same for the sedan.

Many thanks to MidnightG35x for the FreshAlloy link. I've been looking for these FSMs for a while now.
For GGRJR, Check your VIN #, the 2004.5s started with the VINs from E*4M600001 (RWD) and F*4M700001 (AWD).
By the way, does anybody know where to get a copy of the CONSULT II manual? The FSM frequently mentions its use but does not cover everything that it can be used for. There have been sporadice postings talking about various pages. (Like the "13 Tweaks") but no complete manual that I have been able to find.

MidnightG35x,
Unfortunately I don't have a CONSULT II or access to one. Wish I did because my quest to get my door lock/unlock mode changed would have ended a while ago. I want it set so that pressing the key fob 'Unlock' button unlocks all the doors at the same time instead of just the driver's door and then having to press it a second time time for the remaining doors.
The first dealer basically told me that it couldn't be done despite the info I discovered in the "13 Tweaks" posting. The second dealer told me that it used to be able to be changed but that Infiniti/Nissan considered it a "safety" issue, whatever that was supposed to mean. But while they are telling me this another customer spoke up and said he had it changed on his M, so WTF?
Now I'm working with a third dealer and at least they seem interested enough to check into it for me after I showed them the printouts I got off the Web. It would be nice to have the same manual that they have and see if any one of them is telling the truth.
UPDATE 4/24/07 - Yesterday I had the Door Lock/Unlock mode changed at Ray Catena Infiniti in Bridgewater, NJ. I went there with some copies of postings from the site a couple of weeks ango and talked to Joel, one of the Service Managers. He offered to check with his head technician and let me know if it was possible never having heard of doing it before. Sure enough the tech said he was willing to try so I went back there and after trying to decide if ON on the CONSULT II display meant Mode 1 and OFF meant Mode 2, we changed it to OFF and it worked. All doors now unlock with the first press on the keyfob UNLOCK button. This was on a 2004.5 AWD. By the way according to the tech, this can be done somehow through the Navi interface on the newer model years.
