I was pretty sure the tire was a goner but my wheel might be bent too. I was almost to work and made it in without having to stop but my pressure light had already come on. It's out in the parking lot with a flat now. I sure hope the wheel is ok. The damage must be on the inside because the outside sidewall is fine. Unfortunately the inside lip of the rim is weaker so it will bend easier.

To make it even worse, I got my front tires with the wheels from AutoMotiveMods so I didn't bother to go buy road hazard. Time to order up a new tire.

And there is my Monday rant...
Hope your day is better than mine.
look at the bright side, your TWIN TURBO is still in perfect working condition you bastard!!

Yeah I know, I have a few friends who work for Discount. I just never got around to doing it.

I was ok with the tire, I am mad about the wheel.

I didn't have a flat, it was just getting low. The light didn't come on until I was almost at work and the light comes on at 28psi. It still had some air in it when I got to work.

Actually I think I need a re-tune because it has been a little pissy the last two days. I spent 7 hours driving in tons of traffic home from Vegas yesterday so she is a bit moody.

But yes I am still happy about those.

So this gave me a good chance to weigh my 20" Sevas S-55/FK452 (245/35/20) combo vs. stock sport 17's with 225/45 (or 50) Falken (not sure what model.

The stock wheel/tire is 8lbs less so if you are going to the drags make sure and put your stock wheels back on the front to save a lot of unsprung weight.

If they are true friends have them add it now! I have had that done before or just use my name and number just make sure you add the insurance to the new one so all four of mine have insurance!

Sorry to hear what happened Tim.

Hope you get the Seva back sooner than later. I'm sure there's something Kenneth can do for you on getting a replacement.

That is true, these are quite cheap compared to some of the big forged ones out there. I almost got a set of DPE's a couple months back. I would be in tears right now!

I'm going to try. One of them just quit and the other is trying for a manager's job so favors may be slim right now.
