oh **** that sucks, man... last time i bent my rims (le37t), my G ended up sitting on jack-stands for 2 weeks... thankfully i was able to get it repaired (and later sold). do you think the rims is repairable? - doesn't like like it is from the pics...

I don't think it can be fixed but I did send an email to one place with pics to make sure.

I was pretty sure the tire was a goner but my wheel might be bent too. I was almost to work and made it in without having to stop but my pressure light had already come on. It's out in the parking lot with a flat now. I sure hope the wheel is ok. The damage must be on the inside because the outside sidewall is fine. Unfortunately the inside lip of the rim is weaker so it will bend easier.

To make it even worse, I got my front tires with the wheels from AutoMotiveMods so I didn't bother to go buy road hazard. Time to order up a new tire.

And there is my Monday rant...
Hope your day is better than mine.

EDIT: The rim is trashed too, pics below
Dude you are so lucky that wood didn't **** up your car more severly. It could have done body damage or broken a headlight or gas.

Once I was driving east on the 10 in Santa Monica heading into LA, and a car in front of me drove over some kind of square metal tile (don't ask me WTF it was doing on the highway). Anyway, the thing went airborn and started spinning head over tail like a ninja star. It ate the front headlight and hit the little bit of metal body that resides between the windshield and the glass. Luckily I was driving my dad's SAAB 9-5 and the G was safe at home in OR. I was just happy to be alive because if that damn piece of metal had been any lower it could have shattered the windshield and either directly or indirectly killed me.

Just a tire, that's getting off light, damn highway debris can be deadly.

Also once my Mom drove over a screwdriver on the 101 and it punctured her rear left tire and then pierced the rear bumper stopping at the handle.

This is the worst car week yet. I changed around my driver side intake and got a hole in my A/C line.
