Air Intake Valve

Will an AEM intake valve fit on an Injen intake? If so where does it go? Does anyone have pics of the placement of the valve? Here in Guam it rains a lot and I dont want water messing up my engine. I bought this cause I read on a few pages here that this valve can help prevent hydrolocking. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Re: Air Intake Valve

I don't have the injen, but you can see pics of the bypass valve on the Nismo system in the link in my sig. If you can put the AEM valve in about the same place you'd be fine.

Thanks for the pics. I put the valve almost the same place you did. Now the service engine light soon is on. I reset my ecu still on. Did this happen with you? How do I make it go off???

Re: Air Intake Valve

Make sure your MAF sensor is plugged in again. If the 'service engine soon' is still on, then disconnect the Negative terminal of the battery for at least 12 hrs.

I did the battery disconnect last night and the light is still on.

Re: Air Intake Valve

Chances are you had your battery connected when you unplugged your MAF. This causes a Check/Service Engine Light to illuminate.

Follow the ecu reset procedures to clear the Check/Service Engine Light
