Representin' the Sedans this weekend

I am about to leave for the Southeastern Z shootout #8. It is at the Silver Dollar Dragway near Perry, GA. I got started in my 87 Z Turbo a few years and ran a 13.7 @ 100. I went to it last year in the 03 Track Z and ran a 14 @ 105. So the old z31 still has the crown.

My sedan has the HKS rear and a stillen intake/z tube. Hoping to run low 14s and possibly beat a few Zs

I'll have pics and video.

See ya!

It was a lot of fun. Not many sedans, just three if I recall. There were a few coupes, and several 350z's that ran.

Temps were really friggin hot. In the late afternoon, temps nearly reached 90, which put the DA's at 2154 feet. Traction wasn't there. I got 22 runs, and most of launches were in the 2.2 range, even on my DR's. I pulled *one* 2.09, but I missed a shift on that run, so I don't know what my ET would have been.

Nice meeting you devster, and you've got a hot sedan. I still love the front lip.

14.4@96 w/2.1 60ft was my first run and my best of the day. It was too hot and I was not getting ANY traction.

I will have pics and videos this week sometime. I am glad to be home!

And Trey, your car sounded pretty sweet out there on the drag strip!

at countyline down here its only 1/8 mile but 20 bucks and as many runs as u can in one day, some people get 20, 30, 40, 50 runs depending on how many people there are. theres almost no pause inbetween runs, the cars just have to get to a certain point and the next race begins

That would be awesome. Just give your clutch (if you have one) time to cool down between runs.

Myself, Bobby D, OneFast4DoorG35, Mario77746 that I know of, and possibly ZXiMan.

I'm sure there are others, but I can't remember any more.

Did BossSho do it with his 03 5AT or did he get stuck at 14.0@101? I know his coupe 5AT is in the 13.8s@101mph.
