Kinetix Camber Arms - Maintenance
Sorry, long story...
Recently, I started hearing a nasty grinding and squeeking sound coming from somewhere in my front end. It was the camber arm. It turns out the little rubber dusk cover on the top is better for keeping dirt in than for keeping it out.
See details in the pictures. Pic 1 shows me folding the cover back. Pic 2 shows all the sand that was under the cover. Pic 3 - cleaned out all the dirt with a toothbrush. Pic 4/5 - I added grease to fill the inside so there wouldn't be any room for dirt.
That procedure eliminated the grinding and creaking. Anyone with Kinetics camber arms should have a look in there to make sure you don't have sand degrading this joint.
