does any one know if the dealers do debadging? i want just the letters off

 

Highly doubt that they do, but hairdryer and floss is the way to go.

 

I doubt they would do that. First off they are taking off advertising for them. Second they could scratch or damage the paint and then be responsible for it.

 

Just do it yourself. You will be more careful than the dealer will. It is simple. Heat with hairdryer, floss to remove letters, goo gone for the residue, clean, and last but not least a new coat of wax.

 

I didnt use floss, if you hold the hairdryer there long enough they will lift right off.......And ya, goo gone or oops will remove the residue...

 

I know of a few dealers in CA who will do it, but they wanted to charge me my first born, just do it yourself.

Better off doing it yourself! Only you will treat your G like is should be treated...

 

I did mine in the summer and did not even need a hair dryer.

Adhesive remover, dental floss and car wax was all I used.

If I had to do it again though, I would use fishing line. Dental floss breaks a lot.

Side molding is another story, I would use a heat gun for that.

 

The side moldings are just taped on there? I thought there would be holes in the door panels for those.

 

Nope, double sided tape. Very good double sided tape.

 

Some dealers will do it. It's just like when you aske hem to remove there advertisement from your car. But I am on the same boat with everyone else do it yourself!

 

We would do it but it depends on the tech that gets it. Some will just yank it off and pray others take the time to use adhesive remover, heatgun, fishing line and wax on it to make sure it doesnt leave marks. But it is better to just do it yourself its so easy a caveman can do it. just take your time

 

You 100% sure about that? I don't think that's the case...if it were, I would have removed mine many months ago..... Can anyone else confirm?

I see you have coupe, and this is a sedan section & both cars could be different in that respect.
