Mysterious piece found

I was cleaning out the interior and found this piece under my driver side seat. I have no idea what it is for and if I need to get it fixed.

Is it broken? Anyone know?

Sorry if this is not the appropriate forum but I have no idea what this is.

Maybe holds the carpet down or something? Maybe it's not even from the car, did you have any equipment or furniture?

Maybe a tool lost during assembly. Looks like it might be used to pull a spring over a hook or something????

The little plastic piece that keeps the driver side floor mat down was bent up into the bottom of the seat as I was moving the seat back and forth to clean around it. So maybe that rubber piece snapped off this little piece from somewhere. But who knows, every works fine...so far.

Maybe it belongs to Bing from Simplicity in Sounds.

I think its a part thats up under the seat. When the leather is wrapped it hooks onto a peice thats looks like that, it keeps the leather tight and so it doesnt move. If you can look under your driver seat as much as possible to see if any of the hooks that hold the leather are missing.
