g35x at $1600 under MSRP - good deal??
g35x at $1600 under MSRP - good deal??
I'm looking at buying a g35x tomarrow in Sacramento. How's that price? Are people on the west coast getting dealers to come down any closer to invoice on the AWD? I don't want to bicker over $200-300 as long as i'm getting a decent deal. Any thoughts? Oh yeah, and its black on black with premium pack only.
Re: g35x at $1600 under MSRP - good deal??
I'm currently shopping in the St Louis area. The dealers I'm talking to have quoted me 3.5% over invoice of the AWD and 2.5% over on the RWD. Invoice on a AWD w/ prem is ~ 32189 (per edmunds) ... I think this is closer to 2000 under MSRP... possibly a little more.

I think that's a decent deal. With some more work you could probably get it to $2,000 under sticker. With the AWD model being so new I don't think I've heard of any stories where people have gotten them for $500 over invoice yet.

I also have arranged to purchase a G35x at just over invoice. Michael Weitz of Atlantic Infiniti in Lynbrook, NY is the salesman. I heard about him on edmunds.com - he gave me the same deal $500 over invoice if in stock, $700 over invoice if transferred. I'm picking up my Twilight Blue with Graphite Leather and Premium package on Friday. I'm flying out from Chicago to NY - paying $150 for airline ticket, saving $2800-3000 overall versus prices demanded in Chicago for AWD. Well worth the short vacation!

I saw your car being prepped while I picked mine up yesterday. Be prepared for the sales pitch on Lojack, window etching, body molding and the wood package! Otherwise a pleasent experience. As well, Mike is on vacation so you will deal with Diane.
Enjoy the car!
