I really do not like the interior of the 03-04. Even though the 05-06 interior is not the best it is alot better than the previous years IMO. I like the Tails better too also the sport rims that come with the 6MT are nice.

i like the interior of the 04 6mt; not too crazy about the 5AT though (no offense to 5AT owners). Then again, I've never been a fan of anything with auto trans if it has a counterpart that has a manual trans...

03-04 Caused me to join the site years befre I actually purchased the car. IMO the HP has always been underated. The dusty brakes that everyone complains about STILL outperformed every car in its class! Nismo kit is sweet. The interior isnt ugly, but I like the 05-06 better. But the 07 is even better...evolution.

05-06 I think the HP is a little optimistic, but it appears you get a few extra horses if you go FI. Still quick enough to get out of its own way. Again brakes rule its class, with fewer complaints than the 03-04. If you magazine race, you'll see our car stops as well as many "pure" performance cars. I like my taillights better, but thats me.

My biggest peeve is that all sport suspensions should get a least a one inch drop compared to non sports.

I had the choice of a 04 or a 05.
I ended up with the 05.

-Nicer gauge groups that is for sure, 3D not flat.
-I like the 05 interior better.
-HID headlights.
-Nicer styled mags and circular LED tail lights.
-The key-less system is sure sweet.
-More warranty remaining.

I have an 04 and my parents have an 06.

Under the hood, they are very similar and I don't really have a preference. However, the interior on the 06 is much nicer...there really is no comparison.

I personally prefer the 04 interior over the 05.

i like the bluetooth on the 06's, syncs automatically with my phone whenever i get in the car. Feels nice and gadgety having that plus the keyless entry, although I'm sure the 07's must feel like a media center with that music box and CF card reader...

Talking

Aside from the front bumper, I think the 05-06 exterior looks a lot cleaner and classier compared to the Nismo kit. The Nismo kit looks sporty though, if thats the look you're going for.

Post 04 I like the padded leather door armrest and the rubber seal under then hood is more forward (along the front edge where it should be).

Other than that I like my 04.5 better... Aside from the Rev-Up - Power is the same (forget what the marketing crap says).

I have tried a 05 as a loaner. The steering felt much lighter than my 03, and I prefer the heavier feel. Besides that, I really don't see much difference. But I like the stock front bumper of the 05-06 more than my non-sport 03 front bumper.

Thanks for your opinions, I cant wait to get back to my G. I'm overseas now I'll be back in June and I plan on adding the lip droppin' it and some rims. (I like what jline has to offer for wheels) Where would be a good place to order the front lip from? does anyone have 20s on their G. what springs would have the most comfort? I have the tein setup on my rsx. I like it, its kindof rough but I like it for my rsx, but for my G I want to keep the comfort.

i drive a 03 and everytime i drive a 05/06, i am thinking.."they fixed everything that needed to be fixed in a 03"

so 05/06 > 03/04

it's a no brainer i think.. and no i wouldn't trade my 03 for a 05.. but if i was NEW person in the market for a G35..i would go iwth 05+ w/o a doubt~

If I was "new person n the market for a G35" I'd get the 07... it by far kicks the cr@p out of all of 'em.

Looking for used - I can't say I agree... 05/06 just isn't better overall than 03-04 (IMO)... If it were me, I'd get the best deal. Any year is a good choice.
