03-04 Caused me to join the site years befre I actually purchased the car. IMO the HP has always been underated. The dusty brakes that everyone complains about STILL outperformed every car in its class! Nismo kit is sweet. The interior isnt ugly, but I like the 05-06 better. But the 07 is even better...evolution.
05-06 I think the HP is a little optimistic, but it appears you get a few extra horses if you go FI. Still quick enough to get out of its own way. Again brakes rule its class, with fewer complaints than the 03-04. If you magazine race, you'll see our car stops as well as many "pure" performance cars. I like my taillights better, but thats me.
My biggest peeve is that all sport suspensions should get a least a one inch drop compared to non sports.

Thanks for your opinions, I cant wait to get back to my G. I'm overseas now I'll be back in June and I plan on adding the lip droppin' it and some rims. (I like what jline has to offer for wheels) Where would be a good place to order the front lip from? does anyone have 20s on their G. what springs would have the most comfort? I have the tein setup on my rsx. I like it, its kindof rough but I like it for my rsx, but for my G I want to keep the comfort.

it's a no brainer i think.. and no i wouldn't trade my 03 for a 05.. but if i was NEW person in the market for a G35..i would go iwth 05+ w/o a doubt~

Looking for used - I can't say I agree... 05/06 just isn't better overall than 03-04 (IMO)... If it were me, I'd get the best deal. Any year is a good choice.
