Re: All-Weather floor mats

For $60-70, it's a no-brainer. They are nice enough looking to leave in year 'round. Don't settle for a universal mat. Uuugly!

Re: All-Weather floor mats

GeoBau, "lack of edge" is the only thing I find "lacking" as well. The protection I really need is from the stain, wet shoes marks (especially during the rainy/snowy season) and long term protection for the whole mats. And I figure that I will vacuum the original mats and outer parts a little anyway when I clean the exactmats, so "lacking of edge" wasn't a big concern.

One huge advantage though on exactmats, is the rear exactmats, it comes in one piece for the sedan, so it lays over the center part of the Infiniti logo, that' what I really like about it!!

Hmm.... I'm not their sales anyway, why am I spend so much time on it... *_*

Anyway, both are good mats, but just don't try to save a few bucks to get the universal ones for babying our G...

I'm sure at least the last statement is agreeable by 99% of the members here. *_*

Re: All-Weather floor mats

Just thought I'd throw this in from my experience....
I bought the weathertech mats and was very disappointed with the fit and color. From the pictures the color looked like it would match the willow interior but when I got them they were an ugly brown color. Thus I gave the mats to my Uncle and went online to purchase the infiniti all-weather mats.. When I got them I didn't like the willow color and was sad that I didn't get the black ones.... but after awhile I got used to them and grown to love em....
In conclusion I would definitely go with the all-weather mats NOT the weather techs believe me it is not worth it!

As tight as the ExactMats fit, the edge isn't a problem, mine fit so snugly, not having an edge is irrelevant!

Re: All-Weather floor mats

I think the edge comes in to play when one removes the mats; keeps everything on them instead of sliding off.. Also, if someone spills liquid, it will roll onto the interior cloth instead of being contained.

Hmmmm, well I had Rubber Queen mats with quite an edge on them some time ago, and it was hard to take it out of the truck without flexing, thus spilling some over the edge!

But it's still advantageous Only reason I made that the crux of my stance is that Nathan mentioned he's trying to keep his G from getting cruddy with all the rain in Seattle... so retaining water/mud would probably be paramount.

That's true, any kind of floor protection is needed in that crap!

Re: All-Weather floor mats

I bought a set of all-season mats from Kirkland Infiniti this past weekend for $92.72 for the set. I think it is really worth it getting the real thing.

I got rid of my previous set of generic all-seasons which were very ill-fitting. You should be able to get a better price elsewhere though. I think this was the cheapest online price that I saw:
