G35S feels slower with passengers?

Hey guys just a stupid question, when there are about 4 averaged sized adults (including me) in my G35 sedan, the car feels alot more sluggish than with just me in it. Car feels "heavy" and acceleration feels less powerful, is it just me???

Well, add 450-500#s and of course it'll be a little more sluggish It's not just you-

There is no stupid question unless people going beyound of control. Hey, its typical physics law the more weigh on you car the slower it responds. For instance the heavy car say 3800 lbs. will loose say to a 3000 lbs car from the line due to 800 lbs weight difference. Get it?

actually, i once heard, but forgot, the effect on speed with weight. it was actually quantified. the measurement i heard was based on 100 lbs.
so, imagine 4-500 lbs.

This has been distilled into a calculation. Perhaps some weight concious racer could shed some light? Each 100lbs dropped = ? HP

I saw the same post. I believe it was .1 seconds for every 200lbs. I tried to find the post, but no luck.
