Re: MY STOCK G35 DYNO
I think you can look in the phone book and find a place. the only place I have been to a dyno in southern Cali was Cypress where Jackson Racing is. That's where my roomate got his supercharger installed on his ITR.

Re: MY STOCK G35 DYNO
If he didn't take the engine out of the car, it was wheel. I believe the machine was probably incorrectly calibrated.

Re: MY STOCK G35 DYNO
Sure it could, it could have been incorrectly configured for your run. Unless you guys took turns with the machine settings never changed.

Pesti,
If they won't refund, let them re-do. Seems they did ok with G35Lin's so they've 'got it in 'em'.

Re: MY STOCK G35 DYNO
I can't believe that I read this entire thread and no one else has pointed this out yet: Your post indicated that your dyno was done in 3rd gear. My limited understanding of the dyno process is that in order to achieve accurate results, you must dyno in 4th gear on the 5 speed auto because that is the only gear with a 1:1 ratio. I believe that your impossibly high numbers are caused by dynoing in 3rd gear instead of 4th.

Re: MY STOCK G35 DYNO
Yes and No. He should have done it in 4th gear, but, the machine can be calibrated to do it in 3rd gear. Most accurate dyno results are as you stated, from the 1:1 gear. However, I believe his were inflated from incorrect machine calibration.

Re: MY STOCK G35 DYNO
Pesti, I don't pretend to know too much about dynos, but the average peak looks more like 210 - 215 H/P. The 240 - 250 looks like the spikes which I would say are shift points. NO?
Torque looks like 220 or so. Aren't these #'s about right for the Sedan?
