I had a 2D integra and I hated getting my son out of his car seat. Now that there's two of them, the 4D became more practical. Plus more comfortable for passengers in the back and they love the slightly reclining rear seats.

this is a great forum question. it looks like many of us are on the same page when it comes to preferring sedans over coupes.

the fact that i could get a 6 speed tranny in an attractive package, lighter weight and lower cost than the coupe, cheaper insurance, more utility, made it a no-brainer.

i originally wanted the coupe, but after testing a couple i found rear visibility to be poor with the coupe's big a$s end taking up a lot of mirror. plus the utility of four doors and a ski pass-through was appealing in the sedan. on one of the test drives the dealer, who came along as the 2nd passenger, actually commented how difficult it was to fit into the back seat of the coupe (and how cramped it was when he finally got seated). not a great sales pitch.

i think the 6MT sedan is a great "sleeper" car. Also, it attracts WAY less attention from those cops and robbers...

I need room and doors to get 2 kids in and out of carseats in the back. Try doing that in a coupe....

I came from a 4 door so it was just natural to get the sedan and the coupe was overpriced imo. It never hurts to have the extra room and riding in my friends rsx was so uncomfortable that I'm glad I got the sedan. Would love the coupe but in the long run the sedan is more logical.

Although I do envy the look of the g coupe sometimes, I never regret the sedan for all the things it has served to do well for me. It was a logical and practical decision for me to choose a sedan for the many reasons already posted.

I had a 2 door through college, and all the back seat did was accumulate junk.

I actually came from a 350Z into a 6MT Sedan. My personal reason was that I already had my old 300ZX Turbo 2-seater and I got tired of having two 2-seaters. The Sedan offers virtually the same performance as the 350Z (albeit with another 200lbs, but realistically cannot be noticed).

Also, I really like the sleeper sedan look, and so many people are surprised at how it sounds and that it is a stick.

That, and it can waste any 3 series with the exception of the new 335!

I really like the coupe and sedan equally. With me it was about price and practicallity. I like the sound of the coupe it's alot better than the sedan in that aspect.. I do wish the sedan had dual exausts like the coupe. The Nissan SE-R basically has the Coupe exaust. Why couldnt the 05-06 Sedan. Oh well.

Didn't want to spend 40k on a coupe and have no room.
