Two kids. Less money. Stern looks from the wife.

And I could get it in GREEN!

I test drove the Z and LOVED it!!!! Most fun to drive car ever (for me)... I also drove TL, RL, RX8, Maxima, Altima, G coupe... a few others...

The choice for G sedan was simple. I had client considerations and extreme travel. 200 miles round trip 2-3 times per week. I was offered a position in No Cal managing 2 branches, one in Sac and one in Livermore (bay area)... I got an AT due to long commute.

The sedan fit me (physically) perfect! I felt like I had been driving the car for years! I liked the style and it performed pretty good (not a Z though).

Skip ahead - literally TWO WEEKS after purchasing the car I was offered a similar position in OC without the commute or client needs

So I've spent the last 2.5 years trying to make my AT sedan perform like a sports car not a semi-luxury sport sedan.

I was very tempted to sell and get the 08 coupe... but the production pics I've seen are f-ugly!!! I love the sedan - but honestly had I known then the way things would turn out, I probably would have got a coupe of some sort (quite possibly the Z).

Really love the coupe but needed something I can drive all year and be safe in the winter. So I got the X just simple as that.

Although I was paying for half of it, my dad said yes to coupe, my mom said no, moms get what they want, and I ended up with a sedan. I love it

the only thing that is a downside of having a sedan is that there are less mods for us. Other than that I love it!

I think the coupe looks nasty. I know a lot of people don't agree with me on that one though.

You must be a pretty short dude because a rear facing seat mounted in the center (at the appropiate lean angle) in my sedan is touching the two front seats on the inside. I'm 6' 2" and don't sit OG style either. There's no way I could get two rear facing child seats in my sedan and sit comfortably, much less a slightly smaller coupe. I also don't know how you could easily place an infant in a rear facing seat if there are two child seats in the back. You'd have to be a pretty limber person to pull such a feat.

I got a sedan because I have a big place in my heart for sporty sedans. I love the coupe too, but it's just not for me. I also like the utility and room of a sedan. The trunk on the G sedan is significantly larger and I put it to use a on regular basis on vacations, Home Depot trips, hauling 3 sets of gold clubs, grocery shopping, etc.

You CAN fit them, or you actually DO have them in the back seat of your coupe? The way I read it you were stating that it's possible to fit them back there, but wasn't sure if you had kids.

I too got the sedan because of kids. The coupe won me over @ the showroom, but I love my sedan 100% now that I own it....
