I'v never really liked the coupes. And they wouldnt survive an MN winter.

I like the sedan because i got a backseat, and i can get the ladies back there

But at 16 i feel spoiled having my daddy pay for it and the insurance

But once i start working im gonna, out of the graciousness of my heart, give my dad $100 a months to put towords the G's $415 lease.

Dont hurt me!!! Im not spoiled!!

 

Just consider yourself lucky! The car I had at 16 was a 1986 Buick Skyhawk that needed brakes and tires, yet I was allowed to drive around in it.

Today i was at BMW and i was riding in an Elevator and this aldy was talking to another lady saying she sold a BMW 335Xi to an 18 year old. Daddy paid for it.

Hafta say the reason I choose a sedan was simply because of the AWD feature (snow is brutal in NY during the winter). Not to mention the fact that i'm 6'1 200+ lbs and I didn't really feel all that comfortable in the Coupe.

I also think the Sedan looks alot more classy/grown up then the coupe. I actually had my girlfriend tell me she thought the coupe looked like the scion TC. After she said that I knew I couldn't go through with getting a coupe and i'm very happy with my sedan

I almost assume not tell anyone my story anymore. They all point fingers and ASSUME. I hate it when people do that.

My dad offered me the G so im not gonna say "No thanks dad, instead of helping you out and help pay for it, im gonna save up and by myself a POS thats gonna break down."

im 19 and i'd prefer the sedan over the coupe. imo the rear looks ugly. reminds me of a CRX hahha. j/k. if you really think about it and people ask you why you got a sedan... then take a look at their honda and laugh, and finish it off with .... "thats why" i do it to my friends all the time and i get a good laugh every time. hahahh

and i could swear i read somewhere that the 6mt sedan was faster than the 6mt coupe.

2003 Sedan: 3,336 (Base) / 3,369 (Leather)
2006 Sport Sedan: 3,497 lb
2006 Coupe: 3,505 lb

any idea why this is so? without looking at the dimension sheet, i would assume the coupe has a shorter wheelbase and overall length. what attributes to the additional weight?

the 3369lbs you show for the 2003 leather sedan is for AT, correct? my 2004 6MT sedan would be lighter, i believe.

 

When I first saw the sedan I loved it, plus I have kids.

 

Maybe not the old version but new 07 is sweet...i shoulda waited!

 

I love my Sedan because it is unique!!

If there is one thing I cannot stand when it comes to Japanese "luxury" versions of the their parent company vehicles it is that more and more they look exactly like the "cheaper versions"!!

Except for Badging, can anyone tell the difference between a:

Toyota/Lexus
Honda/Acura
etc...

To me the G-Coupe is a re-badged 350Z, the QX56 is a Pathfinder Armada, etc...

Our Sedans are neither a Maxima or an Altima!

The G Sedan is its own car, not the "luxury version" of some other vehicle!!
