Wow I had given up on this a while back. Maybe there is a little hope.

Revive this thread! I'm interested and sent a PM to 4080 with no reply.

Give me an idea of how much this would run, I may be interested depending on how much it would cost in the end.

I would assume it would be in the $350 range like the other side.

hmm, thats a little out of my price range just for a box, I know 4080 does good work though. but 350 is just too much.

That is a good price for a custom fit fiberglass box. If you go to any audio shop they will charge you more for something that is equal or lesser quality.

I agree, after building my own custom box I can tell you that glassin' is not cheap and it requires a lot of labor. It's not like nailing and gluing some wood panels.

+1

I worked for a high end stereo shop for a couple years while in school and we did systems up to ~$25k. Trust me, $350 for a glass box of this quality is a good deal!

I can build my own for less but it is a lot of work and the extra money is well worth all the time.

Bump this again and put me on the list.

Cmon 4080, how many pre orders do you need to start building these?

I'm happy to PRE PAY.

I just sent him another email to see if 5 people is enough to get them to make one. We'll see. If they won't do it before next month I am going to make my own.

4080 obviously could care less about this thread

Let me know how many are still interested, I'll use my car as the donor car and have a local shop here build them. These guys are top notch and have built several IASCA winners.

Over 1000 VIEWS and only 5 people that "may" be interested. I guess I've answered my own question as to why 4080 doesn't give a flip about building anymore of these...

Sounds like a good idea. Talk to them and see what kind of price they are looking for. For me to get one it would need to be 12" and clear a 12W6 V2.
