Factory Wood

My AT Sedan Sport has silver (titanium?) door "pull" and shifter trim. Has anyone added factory wood by replacing these parts? Dealer said it was possible. Anyone know of a dealer that offers discounted parts ?

Re: Factory Wood

Dealer's who offer discount parts, huh? I have looked at some wood trim to add to my G to match the doors, and so far have been disappointed in what I have seen!

Re: Factory Wood

There was a thread about this a while ago with some vendors web sites given. There are few kit options I think. Try searching.

Re: Factory Wood

This list price for each of the wood door handles is $22 and the shift **** is $140 (whole new **** leather/wood). Apparently, the titanium strips snap out and wood snaps in. There are dozens of outlets for factory match wood dash kits. Just do a search (google) on wood dash kits. At least one, claims to be the OEM supplier for Nissan and others. Find the kit and maker you want and then look for the best price.

Re: Factory Wood

I have a set that I bought from another owner, never put in because my wife wouldn't let me. Let me know if you want it, $75 + shipping. All 4 door pulls and the auto shift ****.

Got this done at the dealer when I bought my ride. They threw it in at their cost.

Re: Factory Wood

G35papa,

You need to get the emergency brake pedal from Grubbs! Man that
is ugly sitting next to those drilled aluminum pedals.

Re: Factory Wood

see that looks good with your interior. I got the black interior and it doesn't look very good with black so that's why I'm getting rid of it.

thanks,

Funny how people have different tastes. I like the wood More in the Black interior. Go figure.

Re: Factory Wood

The wood kits I've seen are too light colored.
A dark Mahogony would be better, especially on our
Graphite leather interiors. The light wood looks "pansey"
to me. LOL

First a rip then a compliment then a rip
Yeah, I have the ebrake pedal, just need to install it.

Your all right though, it comes down to taste and preferences. If your going to be driving in it everday, you better make it look the way you want it too. Or just keep it plain and keep your foot to the floor!! You will be concentrating to much on the road ahead of you to worry about the light, dark, plain whatever wood

Re: Factory Wood

Hi there!
I'm new to this website and just found this thread about the wood trim items that you had for sale. If they are the same color as shown in the pictures just below your thread then I will buy them if still available. Please let me know.
