It's just not worth arguing with some guys....you could probably find a guy out there who thinks his '79 pinto could beat a porsche....just not worth it.

It's funny to watch people get riled up like that. In my initial research, I included the IS300, because it's in the class of car I wanted. I dropped it before the test drive, though, based on my extreme dislike for the taillights, and reviews that said the interior was more Toyota than Lexus.

I had really considered the IS but after a test drive I was more impressed with the Galant that it would have replaced. I like a straight 6 but it lacks the performance I wanted. People think we are carzy for loving Gs. Too bad they just don't know

IM setting this straight, i am 18, i am ignorant, and yes i street race like a mother f-ker... My friend has an IS with intake chip and exaust... i race him on highways, streets ANY WERE... i always win... believe me i live and breath cars... i know the technical data and its not worth getting into because on paper the "G" wins, in looks the "G" wins, AND ON THE STREET THE G WINS BABY!

did you guys noticed that one dude said that Nissan cars are slow...... he must be forgeting about the GT-R, the king of Japanese cars.... (though some claims the NSX to be the king)..... I always thought Nissan was more performance oriented than toyota.... well, he probably never heard of the Silvia...

 

The only good performance car toyota ever made was the Supra TT and the Mr2 Turbo. The Supra kicked the 300zx but barely and the Mr2 killed the 240sx but too bad both are disconituned. Both were a nice car.

 

I didn't think the MR2 and the 240sx belonged in the same category..... even if it did, the 240sx we had was actually 180... the silvia would kick the MR2's little b-hind....
as for supra TT beating 300ZX TT... well, that's why NISSAN's performance symbol (in japan, at least) remained the skyline GT-R.....

 

when the supra comes back out, u guys thing they'll limit the power on it like they did to it before they stopped production several years ago?
if they don't, that's gonna be one monster of a sports car..

they were actually not arguing about the faster car, which we all know that the G is, but they were arguing that the IS can handle better than the G...curve weight..balance and stuff like that...

 

That's the problem, they were wrong on that point too.
