seal packing

i am going to upgrade my 03 tail lights to 05-06 tail lights. Is it really necessary to replace the seal packings on the tail lights?

BTW: I took off my backup lamps but for some reason I cannot take out the bulbs. I tried to turn it counter clockwise and....nothing. Am I that big of a loser that can not take out a simple light bulb?

Try removing the bulbs in the other direction. If these bulbs have never been changed out, they can sometimes feel jammed up in there.

I tried turning it the other way..still nothing. Yes, it is the first time taking them out. I guess I'll just twist it harder and hope nothing breaks.

They are tight but do come out.

I didn't replace my seals when I did the tail swap and have not had any issues. I would say as long as you have the seals you will be fine.
