Good place to order Stillen CAI Filter and Cabin Filter?

Hi all,

Is there any other good places to order a stillen cai filter and cabin filter besides Everythingg35? Since stillen doesn't sell the filter itself, I'll be getting the pop charger filter $49.99 and the cabin filter for $26.25. I do not plan to re-oil the filter since I don't want to risk messing anything up.

How often do you guys change/re-oil the cone filter? I've had it for about 1 yr and 4+ months with about 12,000 miles on it I think. As for the cabin filter, it's almost 12 months with about 10,000 miles. I can probably still hold off for a few more months but just wanted to order the filters so I can swap them when I have nothing to do one day.

For the ones that have the charcoal filter do you recommend paying twice the price for that over the original cabin filters?

Thanks...

heyyyy

i highly recommend you get the AEM Dryflow filter. I forgot where, but there is a a thread about people replacing their JWT popcharger filter with an AEM Dryflow universal one. I took the part number and bought the universal Dryflow that fits the JWT kit. It fit my Stillen box with the help of (a dab) some silicone spray (wd-40 or hot water should work as well)

this is a very nice filter! it does not use any oil, so you will never have to purchase any sort of "refill" kit. I have washed it maybe 5 or 6 times so far with a plastic safe cleaner (a dab of simple green) I just dunk it a few times in a bucket of simple green and than rinse out all the soap. the filter dries in just 10 minutes (I let it sit in the heat for at least 1/2 hour tho and than run it under a hair dryer for a bit).

AEM does sell a dryflow "cleaner" which they reco you use. but numerous users from other automotive forums find any sort of plastic cleaner to be enough

Hmm....interesting. But I haven't heard many people having them so to be safe I probably go with the popcharger which fits right in.

So what's going on Neal? I haven't been too active on the forum. Been exhausted taking care of my daughter (10 weeks old).

Back when I had my SC, I changed out my Stillen filter for the AEM Dryflow, it was very easy. Now I made custom intakes to use two AEMs.

I just bought the AEM dryflow to replace the Stillen filter (actually it's just a K&N filter that Stillen uses). I have a thread somewhere about which K&N part number and the AEM part number. I have yet to install it so I hope I bought the right one. I bought the AEM part number: 21-209DK.
