I just brought my car '03.5 G35 sedan for rattles in the driver window and the rear deck. Through a lengthy conversation with the service consultant, he admitted that G35's are very poor with rattles and that Nissan knows about them. Of course it's not a safety issue, so there will be no recall. He also mentioned that they hate investigating them as much as we hate hearing them, but understood it was their job to fix these issues (more of an off-hand comment than a complaint).

After the conversation with the service consultant, I went on a test drive with the technician. A technician (their best, I'm told) and I went on a test drive and he admitted that there were several issues with the G35. He knows of many, but can't bring them up until YOU complain about them.

He knows about the driver's window, the pop near the seat belt column, the buzzing from the auto-dimming mirror, the creaking in the rear deck, etc.

You need to bring these issues to their attention because previous G35 owners have already laid down the groundwork and have many bulletins to access and fix.

As you will see, it pertains to the rattling noises in the the front doors.

When I brought my car in for other work, I also mentioned the rattling noises when playing my music and they tightened everything up on all doors. Havent heard anything since then.
