i think you'll get what you're looking for with this setup

Yea, i'll look into that, Thats why I wanted the Stillen intake because it seemed like a very popular option and it made the car sound much better than the stock intake.

I have the popcharger/z tube combo and it sounds good (don't want to hype it up) and the popcharger is cheaper than the stillen

First off, congrats and welcome to the family.

Your car is not a rev-up. That was the 05-06 6MT only.

If you have specific questions, search first. 99.5% of them have been covered many times before. Part of the reason I have so many posts.

1) Intake
Stillen or JWT, the stillen looks way better but does not do any more. You will only get a couple hp at best from an intake.

2) Plenum spacer
Morotdyne 5/16" is the best bang for the buck and you can keep your engine cover. 1/2" will fit in some cases and not others.

3) Exhaust
Stillen is the best gains but also the loudest. Borla is the only other true cat-back dual exhaust and sounds good (subtle) but the gains are not as high. HKS sounds good but you will not see much for gains there because it is only a rear section.

4) Lowering
Search around for pics of all the options. Best deal is older (un-revised) 350Z springs because you will get ~1" drop and your existing sport struts will work with them.

5) Wheels
All up to you, just remember that big cast wheels are heavy and will slow you down. Go forged if you can. I will be selling my 20" Volks soon if you are on the market.

Thanks alot for the info, I have a couple questions, what does it mean that my car is not a rev-up? And also what is the difference between revised and unrevised shocks?

I'm in Shawnee and work in Overland Park at College Blvd and Antioch. If you're in KS, you're welcome to check out my G35. I've got the 5/16" spacer, 06 midpipe (much deeper sound), Z-tube, 350Z/coupe springs, and tinted 30/20.

If you knew me, you'd know I'm pretty much dead set against POPs/Stillen/CAIs on these cars. Do a search of DaveB and intake and you'll see where I'm coming from If you want some sweet induction noise, I'll show you how to make your stock intake (assuming you get the Z-tube) to sound like the POP/Stillen for FREE.

As for the spring setup, I love it. I'll take you for a spin in the car to get an idea of the ride quality and the great sound of the 05+ midpipe.

Another local site you might want to visit is fast4doors.com and kcsr.org. Both are local Kansas City enthusiasts sites.

That sounds good, I'll pm you as soon as I get my car, I'm so excited to star the modding. Do you like the spacer? And have you ever had any problems with police and your tint? I dont think I really like the staggered tint jobs and am thinking of going all 20%

I love the spacer and I've had no problems with the tint. As you can see, the 30/20 is pretty uniform. It's just light enough to keep the police from bugging me (going on 2.5 years).
