Possible new owner, Looking to buy an 05 G35x - what to look for?

Hello all,

My name is Mark and im looking to buy a 2005 G35x for a nice daily driver. I have heard nothing but great reviews on this car! I will be at the dealer this week test driving some models, and am just wondering if there is anything that I should watch out for before buying a used G35. I plan on buying one with less then 25K miles on the clock. I dont plan to mod this car in any way, as I have a supercharged S2000 that I mod, but knowing myself there will prob. be a new set of wheels on the car down the line

From reading from tons of the reviews on this car, some people complain about:
-The brakes wear out to soon (25k or less miles)
-Rattles developing over time in the rear seat windows/door pannels
Is there any truth in this?

If there is any issues or things I should watch out for in buying a 05 G35X?

Thanks in advance!

I just bought an '05 a few months ago and have no compliants. Although, I do have some of the rattling / creaking issues with the rear doors and windows which are rather annoying. I took it to the dealer twice and they were able to resolve under an open service bulletin on it.

Also, I believe the brake wear issues were more for the 03-04.
