I'm considering buying a 2005 G35 sedan with sport suspension. Aside from the multispoke wheels, how can I tell if the car is equipped with the sport suspension option?

Look at your shocks/struts in your wheel-well. If they are red you have the sport suspension, if they are black they are not the sport suspension.

 

is it same on the coupe?

Were they still red on the 05+? I knew that was true for 03/04 but not 05/06.

 

I don't think they are the same on the coupe...I have sport suspension....I didn't notice any red shocks on my car...Mine is an 06 6MT sport suspension...I'll double check again...But the last time I was under there I didn't see red shocks...

 

Is the ride stiff?

So, this applies only to the sedan guys not the coupe...

 

Some people say the 06's went to black. Not sure if this is true or not or if they just see the cover...

 

i dunno, i just know my 05's were red.
