3 Power Outlets
3 Power Outlets
My G35 has 3 power outlets. In the manual it says not to use all 3 at one time. Why give us 3 if you can't use them at the same time. I planned on using my radar Detector in one, then my portable GPS in the other, and if my cell phone battery is low I planned on plugging that in. Has anyone tried all 3 at one time and did it blow a fuse or did it work?
Re: 3 Power Outlets
I didn't see that in the manual. I've just got the radar detector + cell phone going in mine. No need for a portable GPS, since I got the Nav system.
I'd think those three devices shouldn't be a problem, but then I don't know what the load rating is on that circuit off the top of my head. I wouldn't want to mix GPS, a searchlight, and a portable TV, though. Does the manual mention an amp or wattage rating for the circuit? Then you could add up your devices and see if you're under.

Re: 3 Power Outlets
2003's only have 2. Cig lighter, and in the armrest box. They only have a plastic plug on the passenger side where the 2003.5's have a 3rd power outlet.
