Please Help: License Plate Cover

Yeah well after numerous searches through the forum and ebay i've come up empty handed for a Garnet Fire License Plate Cover for my 2004 G35 Sedan.

The thing is my license plate is crushed up from a past accident where someone blew a red light and totaled the front of my old car and also the front license plates arent required here in CT.

I called the dealership and they said it would cost $113 to get a new one but i really just dont have that much money lying around for a little plastic insert.

If someone could tell me an alternative or know how to hook me up with one i would be very grateful. Thank you.

I lived in CT before for 4 years, and from what I recall, a front license plate IS required on every vehicle. You might want to check the DOT laws for CT before driving out with no front plate.

It's going to be hard to come by unless someone upgraded to a Nismo kit and have their original one lying around....chances are that are even slimmer having the rare Garnet Fire.

Save up for the dealer one.

hahahaha that sucks. i made a trip to the DMV and they told me it IS required....so sorry somebody can delete this thread if they want.

A little side info: Previous Governor in CT made it not required and then Gov. Rowland brought the front-back license plate law again...thus 1/20 cars dont have front license plates in CT
