Wave 1 of mods complete, Now saving for wave 2

I have finished up my first batch of mods that includes aluminum sport pedals, a 20% tint, clear corners (not installed but on order) and the PA11-NIS.. What do you think?

Next i'm saving up for the Stillen hi flow and ztube and either a 5/16" spacer, coupe midpipe or stillen sways. Havent decided between them yet.. Any suggestions? Should be getting the intake within a few weeks

I think its great, the volume is a little diminished so you need it to be around 15 or so but I think it sounds great and controlling the ipod through the stereo controls is so handy. I am pretty sure it will work on a non bose, I dont think the speakers should mattter

Compatibility & Notes:[These requirements must be met for this part to work]
1. Compatible with listed 1999-06 Nissan/Infiniti factory radios with external Changer controls.
2. The PA11-NIS does NOT interfere with the in-dash 6-CD Changer radio.
3. The Nissan/Infiniti radio MUST have a 12-pin Changer connector on the back of the radio AND the correct button on the radio face [see footnotes for more details]
4. Vehicle cannot be equipped with an external CD Changer or factory Satellite Radio (your must disconnect them to use this interface).
5. Text and display information remain with the iPod (in Direct mode). The Nissan/Infiniti radio will NOT display Text. You will see playlist and track numbers only.
6. Click to enlarge picture detail

Footnotes:
Radio requirements [please check your radio before ordering---if the radio does not meet these requirements the PA11-NIS will not work]
¹ Must have "CD" button on radio face
² For double-DIN radio with CD/CHG button only
³ Must have "CDC" button on radio face.
Compatible with Navigation radios but not compatible with factory installed Sirius or XM.

cool. thanks.

so im guessing that based on the info provided, this would not plug into the cable usually found behind the carpet in the trunk, but behind the radio itself?

Congrats!

Next I would do the sways for sure. The spacer is a great mod but you will get more out of the sways.

How exactly will the sways feel? I mean how does it really affect the handling? Is it that noticeable?

Best way I could describe it: When you go in for a sharp turn, it feels like as soon as you start turning the steering wheel the car starts turning sharply, more responsive steering. The other thing is when you are going through a turn, you do not use your neck muscles as much to try to keep your head straight Feels almost like you are driving straight when you are making a sharp turn, if that makes any sense!

I'm at the same stage you are. Are there any possible long term negative effects of having the Stillen sway bars?

Well, I'm not gonna lie.. I dont really take sharp turns at high speeds very often, so if I am not racing or autocrossing are they really worth it for like every day driving??

So does everyone think sways before a spacer?

get the sways when you get springs get the spacer when you get your intake, ztube and midpipe. If you don't do that much spirited driving than go with the engine modds first and then do your handling suspension modds afterwards. In your case you'll enjoy the ztube intake and midpipe more than modds than the sways.
