Some vids of my 03 sedan with JDM tails & 06 midpipe

All filmed in Mexico

Please bear with digital camera. The sound and video quality isn't terribly good.

Video 1 http://s147.photobucket.com/albums/r...6-10-07048.flv

Video shows the sound of the midpipe under 50% load from a stop. I also tried to show the JDM tail ambers lighting up, but sun angle was such that it deaden the amber effect of the light.

Video 2 http://s147.photobucket.com/albums/r...6-10-07051.flv

Hot dog video. Also proof that an open differential G35 5AT can lay two perfect patches of rubber and even get a light tail happy on a 2500rpms launch, even in 90 degree weather.

You're brave leaving your camera out like that ... I'm surprised one second we see a G the next second you see the ground and some feet running.

Actually, my 14.32 was with just a Z-tube (14.32@97.8mph). With the spacer I've run upper 14.3s@99mph in slightly warmer weather.

It's a somewhat remote commercial area and the street currently only comes in one way which is the direction I'm heading.

Nice vids Dave. Good to know that I can lay down two strips of rubber if I so desired. Where are all of the naysayers now?

Hey nice vids!

How are the JDM tails? Are the turn signals actually red or are they amber?

I've got two other videos of the car laying two perfect strips of rubber just incase someone said it was a fluke. I really wanted to show the car lighting them up through most of 1st, but it was just too hot out.

Yes, in most situations the turn signals are red unless the sun is low and shining at the back of the car. When that happens, the signal looks fairly amber. When the signal is on, it's bright amber. It's different, but only a true enthusiast would know. I went with the JDM tails because they were $346 shipped vs $406 shipped for the US-spec 05/06 housings.
